Draw on your shirts, no worries!

Friday, December 19th, 2008

Class Attire has a line of t-shirts that you can draw on. Each of the Chalkboard Tees has a symbol on the front that you can decorate to your heart’s content. You have to do your drawing with chalk, which stays on the shirt until dabbed off with a wet cloth — a little more permanent of a solution than standard chalkboards. Every shirt in this line has the potential to be absolutely unique: you can choose from ‘blackboards’ shaped like birds, butterflies, the Statue of Liberty, hearts and more — as well as drawing on them indefinitely.

The Kenyan Cowboy Collection

Thursday, December 18th, 2008

I’m more than willing to admit an unusual fondness for Western-wear, from cowboy hats to cowboy shirts. A new line of cowboy shirts has particularly caught my eye recently: the Kenya Cowboy Collection. The line comes from Kilakitu Clothing, which buys secondhand clothing from markets in Nairobi and reuses it to create new items. The beautiful one-of-a-kind shirts are available for purchase online, although many seem to already have been sold.
