Wickedminky’s Wicked Style

tattoo inspired blue and grey sparrows holding diamond necklace

These hand painted pieces from Wickedminky are classically vintage, each piece an original. These designs are beautifully crafted, easily worn with simple staples, to make a bold statement. No need for actual tattoos here — these “unique hand painted Americana jewelry” offer the feel of tattoos without the permanence. I think that, at least in part, Wickedminky must draw her inspiration from more traditional tattoos. Wickedminky uses recycled materials for her work, and does custom orders as well.

This jewelry artist has a sort of Ed Hardy feeling, but uses inventive design and technique to create something totally original. I love the vintage feel to each of her pieces, which range in size as well as imagery. If wearing a larger piece, make sure not to overwhelm the necklace, earrings, or other, with any other distracting patterns: these pieces are art in themselves, so don’t make them compete with anything else.

Being hand-crafted beauties, these pieces are a steal! Ranging from about $10 to $30, Wickedminky’s works are well worth the price. Her collection was recently featured in Bust Magazine, as one of Etsy’s Finds. Her entire collection speaks volumes about her innovative works, and is making leaps and bounds into the artistic world. Wickedminky has got a skillful approach to creating exceptional, specialized pieces, which you can adorn yourself with, in a bad-ass, classy way. These are truly unique pieces that anyone can work into their wardrobe. Their tattoo-esque vibe can rock up any outfit in a stylish way, so don’t pass up on this great find!
