Etsy is getting some major notice — at least in the business world. Fast Company put Etsy in its list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies, recognizing the company for its efforts to redefine the crafter’s business model.

The article mentions that there are now more than 2 million listings of handmade goods available for purchase through Etsy. That sounds like good news to me: that’s literally millions of fashion and design choices for all of us that are at least a little different from anything else we can find.

I think that Etsy’s position in this list is a good sign: there’s still plenty of room for growth but Etsy is well-established. It won’t be going anywhere.
