There is just something about sheets of newspaper that requires a girl to make a hat. There are a few options, of course: we’ve all had the triangular hat that looks vaguely like a pirates, and a few of us have sported dunces’ caps. But it’s nice to have something a little more festive in our wardrobes.

Maya of maya*made has an awesome tutorial for newspaper party hats. When the Sunday paper comes around, I can tell you what I’m doing with the Lifestyle section. I think the flowers are a great touch.
