Build Your Own T-Shirt Press
Thursday, July 17th, 2008 by thursday
Since the day I realized that t-shirts don’t really come from the mall, I’ve wanted my own printing press. I’ve experimented with various DIY options, like screen printing with cheesecloth. These options, if you’re considering them yourself, leave a little to be desired.
However, PrintingPlans.com has posted a free PDF with complete plans for a four-color t-shirt press. They’ve put together a hardware package, available through Etsy, and estimated out costs at $125. If I can find a corner of my apartment where it will fit, I may just have to build this thing. Anyone want to give me a ride to the hardware store?
